For years, Forest Feast fans have loved Erin Gleeson’s effortless California-style vegetarian cooking, made in her beautiful cabin in the woods. We are launching this limited-release extra virgin in collaboration with the launch of Gleeson's latest cookbook, The Forest Feast Road Trip, which showcases 100 vegetarian recipes, all inspired by her family’s journey by car through a stunningly geographically diverse setting. This Forest Feast collaboration EVOO was milled in November 2021 and is made from Coratina olives grown in Woodland, California. It's robust in intensity, and has warm cinnamon and herbaceous notes, and pronounced bitterness and pepperiness. The label was custom illustrated and designed by Erin Gleeson.
WHAT IS EXTRA VIRGIN?
Exceptional extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) is a flawless, fresh juice, packed with phenols — those antioxidants that fight disease and promote good health. EVOO is fruity, flavorful, bitter and spicy, and should be consumed within about four months of opening.
